Mr. Mitchell has passed away

Just saw on Facebook today that Mr. Mitchell passed away last night after having heart surgery.

I saw Jim Mitchell fight in tournaments a bunch of times.

One time he jumped off of his right foot,

...placed his left foot on the left knee of his opponent...

...jumped off of the follow's left knee and rt-wheel-kicked him in the head.

Just like he was "running up the stairs".

Some photos of Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Parker

When Jim was with Ed he was 1,000% loyal.

When the "bad-thing" happened in San Diego, Jim had to "run-for-his-life".

Up until then Jim Mitchell was the man that trained privately with Ed Parker EVERY Wednesday of every week....

He'd take that 3 hr drive...train with Ed for 3 hours...and then take the 3 hr drive back to San Diego.

Jim was PURE GOLD in his allegiance to Ed Parker.

Then he got "bitten".

Jim was a Metal Element.

He HAD to do everything correctly!

His "moves" were always done with utmost PERFECTION in mind....

You can see that focus here...

With the
*Single-point
Right ball of foot
Right Knee placement
Hips placement
Belt tied and length
Color Coded uniform
Patch perfectly where it is supposed to go
Right hand perfect
Left hand perfect
Head in proper position
Eyes focused correctly
And so MUCH more!

A man that ALWAYS SOUGHT PERFECTION!
